Where Does Texas Military Culture Come From?

It is not uncommon to meet someone from Texas and find out they served in the military. In this clip Jerrod Downey asks guest Greg Gilland where he thinks that culture comes from. He gives a thoughtful response from his own personal value system, his family’s own military background, and some of the history of what has made Texas the state they are today.

Prior to joining MAXAM, Greg built over 20 years of experience with various companies in the tire industry with over nine years dedicated to the agricultural industry working closely with global original equipment manufacturers. Before working in the tire industry, Greg was a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and served in the U.S. Navy for 15 years as a Naval Officer both in the active Navy and the Naval Reserve.
