William Donnellan owns multiple Irish pubs in Vancouver BC, one of them named after his mother who ran bars back in Ireland where William grew up. His first job in Canada was achieved by putting on construction clothes and walking to work sites until he got hired. What started as a vacation to Toronto ended up with a whole new life in Vancouver. What started as a promise to never run another pub again ended up with 5 and counting. What started off thinking he got fired ended up starting William off on a path to developing a full-service construction company delivering projects across the province.

You might summarize William’s story as someone who took what they knew and made the most of it.
