Rockmart Slate, is the only fully permitted active slate aggregate quarry in the state of Georgia. They operate 95 acres of fully permitted slate quarry located in Rockmart, Georgia, with history dating to the 1850s. They have proven and measured reserves of 44 million tons of slate. They provide:
