MN 73: Green Technology Metals – Building the Pre-Eminent Lithium Business in Ontario Canada

Green Technology Metals is a North American focused lithium explorer and developer with a goal to become a pre-eminent vertically integrated lithium company.

Green Technology Metals is a North American focused lithium explorer and developer with a goal to become a pre-eminent vertically integrated lithium company. They are listed on the ASX in November 2021, following a deal which saw them acquire an initial 51% interest in three lithium projects in Ontario, Canada with optionality to increase that ownership to 80%.

With over 100 years of combined industry experience in exploration, development and mineral processing, the Board and Management team were selected with the belief that they are the right people with the requisite skill sets to advance the company toward its objective.

They recently completed a strongly supported equity raising of A$55 million to progress an aggressive exploration program at their key assets, including resource definition and expansion drilling at Seymour and Root (including preliminary study work), regional and greenfield exploratory drilling at Allison and Wisa, and to fund the completion of an Integrated Feasibility Study at our flagship Seymour Project.

The strong support Green Technology Metals received in the equity raise was very encouraging and included a US$10 million strategic investment from Lithium Americas Corp, with whom they established a non-binding collaboration framework agreement to assess a strategically located, integrated lithium chemicals business.

Projects
The Seymour Project hosts numerous targets and 9.9 Mt at 1.04% Li2O resource in accordance with the JORC Code which is open along strike and down dip (North and South Aubry).

The Root Project is located near the First Nation community of Slate Falls and approximately 300km northwest of Thunder Bay. The Root Project hosts a Historical Estimate which has been superseded by an Exploration Target supported by Exploration Results and is open along strike and down dip.
